Hair Care

Maintenance Procedures

It’s important to care for your virgin hair properly to help it last longer and wear better over time. Follow the maintenance steps outlined below to properly cleanse, condition, and best care for your virgin hair.

Rinse Virgin Hair with warm water

The first step to maintain your virgin hair extensions is to rinse the hair. Gently rinse the virgin hair by running it under warm water. This will prepare the hair for proper cleansing prior to shampooing the hair.

Apply Deep Cleanse Shampoo

After you have rinsed the hair with warm water, the next step is to cleanse the hair. Once the hair is wet from being rinsed under warm water, apply a small amount of a deep cleansing shampoo to the hair.

Shampoo hair in a downward motion

Work the shampoo through the hair by gently rubbing the shampoo into the hair in a downward motion. This will help to thoroughly cleanse and refresh the hair extensions. Use a downward motion help to keep the hair smooth as you shampoo it.

Rinse Hair with warm water

Once the shampoo has been applied and worked through the hair thoroughly in a downward motion, gently rinse the hair again by running it under warm water. Be sure to separate the hair strands under the warm water to remove all the deep cleansing shampoo.

Apply Sulfate Free Shampoo

After you rinse out the deep cleansing shampoo with warm water, apply a sulfate-free shampoo to the hair. Gently work the shampoo through the hair to release any product or build-up. The sulfate-free shampoo will not produce suds, but it will still cleanse the virgin hair.

Repeat step 3-4

Once you have worked the sulfate-free shampoo through your hair, follow steps 3-4 by shampooing the hair in a downward motion. After you have shampooed the hair with the sulfate-free shampoo, rinse it with warm water.

Apply Silicone Conditioner

The next step is conditioning the hair with a silicone conditioner to soften and recondition the virgin hair. Apply a generous amount of conditioner to the virgin hair, using enough to thoroughly condition the hair.

Use Wide Tooth Comb to evenly saturate the hair

Once you have applied the conditioner to the hair, use a wide-tooth comb to gently comb through the hair and ensure that the conditioner is evenly saturated throughout the hair. If necessary, add more conditioner to make sure that the hair is completely saturated.

Comb hair from the ends and work your way up

After saturating the hair with conditioner, use the wide-tooth comb to comb through the hair. Start combing through the hair at the ends, then work your way up the hair strands. Comb through the hair a few times to be sure that the conditioner is evenly distributed, and the hair is softened.

Rinse hair in cool water for 2-3 mins

Next, rinse the hair again. This time, rinse the hair with cool water instead of warm water. Rinse for 2-3 minutes under cool water, releasing all the conditioner from the hair, leaving it soft and silky.

Apply Bamboo Silk Leave-in Conditioner

To make sure your virgin hair is well-conditioned, add bamboo silk leave-in conditioner. Apply a small amount of the leave-in conditioner to the hair and work the conditioner through the hair from the top to the bottom of the hair strands.

Hang dry or blow dry with paddle brush

Lastly, after applying the bamboo leave-in conditioner, you can dry the hair by hanging it to air dry, or you can blow dry the hair. When blow drying your virgin hair, use a paddle brush to brush through the hair as you dry it with a blow dryer on a low setting.

Following these steps will properly maintain your virgin hair.
